NASAL BASE REDUCTION

What is Nasal Base Reduction ?

It is performed to reduce the width of the nose and the nostrils themselves. When reducing the width of wide nostrils, the tip projection will be improved as well. This could be done by resection an ellipse of tissue at the nostril base on both sides and relocate towards midline with buried sutures, which will result in narrower, less flared nostrils.
