Upper eyelid lift

What is Upper eyelid lift ?

Upper eyelid lift surgery is also known as upper blepharoplasty. As you aged, the levator muscle which is responsible for opening the eyes becomes loose. Excess fat is developed and the skin form wrinkles around your eyes. These changes make you look much older than your actual age. A skilled surgeon can perform upper eyelid surgery to remove the excess fat and sagging skin to reverse the aging effects and create a natural, more awake, more vibrant appearance.
Suitable for those with: -
• Excessive skin or wrinkling on the upper eyelids • Droopiness and hooding of the upper eyelids • Fullness and fat bags in the upper eyelid • Visual field obstruction (hooding that causes you to lose sight when looking upward)
Procedure: -
Upper eyelid surgery is done using the full incision method but the scarring remains hidden as it is done along the natural crease of the upper eyelid. To create the most impact, it is also complemented by a ptosis correction surgery to make the levator muscles stronger.
